VIDEO: World-endingly pointless free kick

silly.png

There's a nobility in lying, sometimes. Particularly if you're a friend of Macedonian footballer Mario Durovski.

If you do fall into that friendship bracket, do tell him his recent free kick for Thai team Muangthong United's against South Korean side Gyeongnam FC was a moment of genius. But know, deep down, in your heart of hearts, that it was utterly pointless.

Some 30 yards from goal our protagonist runs up to strike the ball, then decides on what we call at ShortList FC, "a bit of silly buggers."

Suffice to say, no goal is scored. Enjoy.
