He's a fashion icon, capable of unleashing a striking vacant expression on command, launching the seasonal collections of major designers with the raising of a brow.

He is Derek Z... sorry, Ricki Hall.

The 28-year-old male model, known for ample quantities of tattoo ink and facial hair, has come in for some serious stick after an odd remark to the The Sunday Times Magazine blurred the lines between parody and reality. Hall has since taken to Twitter to say that he was misquoted, though he's yet to clarify exactly where the Times got his words muddled.

To illustrate just how closely Hall came to repeating parody, we've created a quiz to see whether you can tell his quotes apart from the script of the classic Zoolander. From unlikely style inspiration to lifestyle comments, it's a much harder test than you'd think.
