Your interest in the nation of Tajikistan is about to pique.

That's because the average cost of a pint of the good stuff is an astonishing £0.30 - a full £2.70 less than the typical UK pint. You'd be able to buy the whole bar a round (24 pints) before getting your lips on one pint in Greenland, where the average tipple costs £7.35.

This beer-loving infographic from intrepid holidayers loveholidays.com explores the globe's collective appreciation for the golden nectar, from the strongest pints of the world to national pint consumption per capita (surprisingly, it's not Tajikistan).

Now we're off to the local to discover if we suffer from cenosillicaphobia.
