Watch this 14 year old boy absolutely smash the Rubik’s cube speed world record

Things that happen in five seconds:

  • The average person will blink
  • A sloth will travel approximately 1ft

All in all, it’s difficult for most living things to get anything serious done in this timeframe. It’s entirely possible that it’s the exact same length of time that it’s taken you to read this far down the page.

Well, in less than that time a 14-year-old boy called Lucas Etter managed to solve a Rubik’s cube. Which is just incredible. In five seconds he’s basically already achieved more than we’ll likely do all day.

Bravo, Lucas, Bravo.
