VIDEO:127 Seconds

127seconds.jpg

It's been a fairly dog-heavy week here at ShortList as you may have seen but, never to be outdone, cats have come out fighting yet again.

This inspirational tribute to true-life drama 127 Hours sees what would happen if a cat found himself in a similar, albeit far lower stakes, situation.

Unlike James Franco, who gets his arm stuck under a rock while canyoneering, our feline hero sees his paw stuck in the sofa and finds himself struck with a terrifying dilemma. Does he stay there and suffer zero pain or does he move, without having to cut off anything in the process?

For those with strong stomachs and minds that still have room to be inspired, you simply must take a look at this. Franco ain't got nothing on this kitty.
