VIDEO: Dog chases cat up tree

catdog.png

There's a reason why cats utilise trees the way they do.

It's not just for attention or to prove they can do something we can't, but it also provides a safe haven from their sworn enemy: dogs.

Dogs just don't have the same elegance and poise to pull off the skill of tree-sitting. But, finally, a dog said "enough" and wanted to prove to the world that this is a tired, old-fashioned concept. Tearing up the cat/dog rule book with enthusiastic aplomb, this guy followed the bemused cat all the way to the top of the tree.

About five seconds in, he suddenly realised the error of his ways. We'll give this one to the cats. Again.
