VIDEO: Bulldog bravely battles sleep

Anyone who's watched all three Lord of the Rings movies in one night will be able to empathise with this guy.

Desperately trying to stay awake, despite every part of his body thinking sleepy thoughts, this bulldog is a real fighter.

Like some cruel Survivor task which involves keeping your eyes open when all you want to do is nap, this video is amusing and harrowing simultaneously.

Don't worry though, there's a happy ending. Well strictly he loses but...
