VIDEO: 12-year-old foils armed robbery

There are many reasons to have children. Prolonging humanity, nursing home bills, boredom and now, saving your business when an armed robber comes on the scene.

In this video from Istanbul, a masked criminal attempts to take down a small jewellery store but finds himself thwarted by the owner's 12-year-old son.

Police then studied the tape and arrested a nearby crook. Okay, so it's not exactly Home Alone territory as no sick traps involving glue and broken glass were used but still, we're impressed.
