Twitter Bot Creates Stunning Abstract Images From Your Pictures

Who says Twitter is counterproductive?
Not us, and we should know - we’ve spent the past hour scrolling through the timeline of rapper/actor-cum-21st century philosophiser Jaden Smith.
However, the latest way of utilising your time on Twitter can be found at @lowpolybot, a Twitter bot which creates low polygon pictures from any image you Tweet at it, allowing you to even add specific hashtags to help control the outcome of your chosen image.
It’s also worth using a facial recognition code (#face) for any potential new Facebook profile pics, while retweeting any previous creation by @Lowpolybot will in turn generate an entirely new version of that image. Superb, right?
At the risk of sounding like a Blue Peter presenter, here’s an image we sent over earlier:  last week’s ShortList front cover featuring a dapper Colin Firth and Taron Egerton.
Damn shame the original’s already been sent to the printers.
