Trained shark kills lionfish

Anyone who's seen Deep Blue Sea will know that trying to turn sharks into good Samaritans is never a wise idea.

But over in the Caribbean, desperate times have called for desperate measures.

Near the coat of Honduras, toxic lionfish have been flourishing, despite not being native to the area. Keen to ensure that they don't affect their business, local fisherman and divers hatched a devious plan.

Knowing that sharks will pretty much eat anything or anyone, they figured they could turn them into a pack of evil assassins. The problem is that the one thing sharks avoid when they're hungry is lionfish. Something fussy about the spikes.

So divers speared the lionfish but kept them alive so the sharks would pick up on their scent. Great plan guys, but just you wait until lionfish discover they've been used as bait and sharks discover they're being tricked into a bad meal. Just you wait.
