However you feel about Portugal's 1-0 victory over France in the Euro 2016 finals last night, we'll soon all be agreeing on one thing.

One tiny Portuguese boy is the real winner of the whole affair, after he heartwarmingly consoled a devastated French fan after the match.

In this one act of adorable sportsmanship, he's reminded us what it's all truly about. We're not crying. You're not crying.

They don't call it the beautiful game for nothing.
