This is how you could climb Everest using the London Underground

Everest. Climb that mountain when you get to it, right?

Turns out if you take the stairs or walk up the escalators instead of standing on the right at Hampstead, you will have already scaled the equivalent of the world's highest peak in 151 days.

Snow and Rock have created this infographic to highlight the #UrbanMountains in the London Underground.

According to the adventure experts, if you climb the stairs at Euston 40 times you will have reached the equivalent peak of Ben Nevis.

Sounds fairly achievable to us.

You can step up your game (literally) by taking the stairs 116 times at Covent Garden, and topping U.S mountain Denali. But be warned, those staircases are not for the fainthearted. They're a straight up spiral to hell.

In many ways, our commute is our Everest. We're currently developing mental strength against the TFL strikes, physical power against the rush hour crowd and endurance efforts by not getting a seat for the 67th day in a row.

And it's a pretty cheap way of giving yourself bragging rights.
