Glum that May the 4th has ended? Well here comes Revenge of the 6th.

OK, it’s not a date officially recognised day George Lucas, but it is the day we introduce you to a 16-bit remake of the Star Wars: Force Awakens trailer, continuing the trend of hilarious send-ups in the name of J. J. Abrams’ upcoming blockbuster.

Few film franchises have as long and a successful relationship with arcade gaming as Star Wars does, which we can't imagine was a point lost on the folks at Noober Goober Gaming who are behind this excellent work.

Oh, and just because the visuals are hazy doesn't mean you won’t get goose bumps when the famous theme tune kicks in. We’re in bits.
