The Muppets' Gonzo Performs Amazing Humpty Dance Mashup

gonzo1.jpg

If you thought that Zoot, the dapper saxophone machine, was the coolest muppet, prepare to think again; MC Gonzo is in the house.

This utterly magnificent video sees the Great Gonzo take on the role of Shock G's alter-ego Humpty Hump in Digital Underground's 1989 hip hop classic, The Humpty Dance.

Featuring the chickens on backing vocals, the only thing missing is a cameo from Tupac - who, famously, made an appearance in the original promo, prior to achieving fame.

It follows another recent classic character hip hop mashup which saw Earl Sinclair take on Notorious B.I.G.'s classic Hypnotize - watch them both below and see who your favourite is: but for goodness sake don't let this turn into another West Coast/East Coast rivalry - there's been enough bloodshed already.
