The Gravity spin-off you didn't know about

Now, there are going to be some spoilers so if you haven't seen Gravity, clear off and go and see the damn film already.

For the rest of you, we have a bit of a treat.

During the scene where Sandra Bullock's character makes radio contact with a non-English speaking civilian, the original plan was to cut to the person on the other side. Thankfully, they changed their minds, helping to maintain the claustrophobia.

But the footage was shot and released as a short film which premiered at the Venice Film Festival. It's being put forward as an Oscar contender for Best Live Action Short and, thanks to The Hollywood Reporter, you can now see it in full below.
