The Cup Noodles Museum

noodles.jpg

Do you love noodles in a cup? If the answer is yes then you're probably willing to profess your love by joining a Facebook group or maybe posting an ironic picture of you eating some on your fridge?

But chances are, even if you count it as your number one food, you're probably not willing to visit an entire museum based around the stuff.

Despite this, The Cup Noodle Museum has just become an actual thing. Over in Yokohoma, which is just outside Tokyo, the surprisingly elaborate attraction features an instant ramen History Cube which follows the development of the instant noodle and the Momofuku Theater which uses CG characters to educate visitors on the founder Mokofuku Ando.

Oh and for kids, there's also the Cup Noodle Park, which uses playground equipment to let kids "become the noodles" as they pass through each stage of the production process. Every kid's dream right?

Surprisingly, it isn't the first of its kind. In 1999, the Momofuku Ando Instant Ramen Museum opened and recently expanded to include the rather exciting sounding Instant Noodles Tunnel.

You can actually take a look at that fascinating shrine to noodles here:
