The Awesome Video Game Map

Looking for the Splatterhouse sir? Certainly. Take a left up Super Street Fighter, straight past Wario World and just as you start the climb Silent Hill it should be there on your right. Just next to Limbo. Can't miss it.

No, we've not been at the glue again. This is a legitimate (if meandering) route through Dorothy's Game Map - a sprawling street map of a fictional world of video games artfully created in a style similar to their awesome movie and book maps. Over 10 months in the making, some 500 titles have been squeezed into a design loosely based on an area of Tokyo - a city hugely influential in the creation of arcade classics of the late 70's and early 80's.

Featuring districts dedicated to survival horror, beat 'em ups and console megastars, there's an eye-watering number of in-jokes and niche references. Set to go on sale on 5 November, you can pick one up from Dorothy's store from £25. Click the image below to have an explore.
