We like cocktails as much as the next man, but we're not entirely sure that we'd spend £22,000 on a shaking machine.
However, if we did, we'd buy this one, as it's almost certainly the world's coolest cocktail-making device. The Tanqueray No. Ten Imperial Shaker has been created by Jason Crawley and is recreated from an 1803 design. It's five feet tall and composed of cast iron, brass, copper and silver; operating the crank gives all the four stainless-steel cocktail containers an elliptical shake - much better than the standard up-and-down of that old-fashioned hand shake.
The price includes a whole year's supply of Tanqueray No. Ten, together with a personal cocktail education session for twenty guests with a Tanqueray mixology expert. And not only will you procuring a piece of cocktail-making weaponry, you'll be doing a good deed - £3,100 will be donated to The Heart of Neiman Marcus Foundation, which supports youth arts education in the US.
To get yours, head to the Neiman Marcus website (presumably after selling everything you own).
