Surreal Street Murals

All the world's a stage, so the saying goes, but it also appears that, for one artist, every wall is a canvas.

Iranian artist Mehdi Ghadyanloov specialises in creating these incredible huge murals, which cover the sides of buildings in his home city of Tehran. There's echoes of Salvador Dalí in many of them, with elements of absurdity and visual illusions.
