Superb Pixelated Simpsons Intro

pixel1.jpg

We're sorry. No amount of pummelling your space bar, A or B buttons is going to turn the following animation into a video game. We know - we've tried.

An incredible study of the Simpson's age-old "coach gag" intro, animators Paul Robertson and Ivan Dixon have created a version that will turn Matt Groening yellow with envy.

The flat, 8-bit animation is superbly fluid, littered with references to the show's characters and beloved-episodes, backed by a similarly retro soundtrack by Jeremy Dower.

On second thoughts, get your space bar ready - you're going to want to pause this one quite a few times to drink in the detail.
