When confronted with a snake, the first thing on your mind probably isn't related to their amazing beauty, it's probably got more to do with grabbing a stick and aimlessly defending yourself.

Mark Laita is clearly braver/odder than most of us. The skilled photographer has taken an impressive collection of snake pictures, showcasing an unseen beauty.

Admittedly, most of them would probably still happily kill you but in that lighting, it would sure look nice.
