Star Wars: The Force Awakens LEGO Minifigures

LEGO1.jpg
Now J.J. Abrams has officially awakened our interests with a teaser trailer, you’ve probably already bought a 2015 diary, took out a marker pen and encircled ’December 18th’ in thick black ink. Right before adding a reminder under May 4th, we bet.

One man clearly looking forward to the release of Abrams' Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens is David Hall, a crafter of superb alternative LEGO, and who’s now gone and immortalised the latest cast in block form: Oscar Isaac’s X-Wing pilot, Daisy Ridley’s desert-based scrap dealer and John Boyega’s black storm trooper have all been handed this special treatment.

In the eyes of fanboys used to an overabundance of Star Wars-themed LEGO down the years - even a video game - it should be a breath of fresh air (despite said fans rarely leaving their basements). Visit Hall’s Flickr account and you’ll see the latest designs are just a treasure trove of geeky LEGO ‘minifigs', with even characters from epic video game Destiny available to buy here

We look forward to seeing how he'll deal with that tricky new lightsaber.
