Star Wars 8-bit game mash-ups

8bithero.jpg

If there's one thing we love, it's Star Wars. If we were allowed to pick two then we'd go for retro video games.

So you can probably imagine our slightly overenthusiastic reaction to these mock-ups by the incredibly talented Matt Cowan.

He's imagined various arcade games of our youth as belonging to the Star Wars universe. We think you'll agree that Jabba would make a perfect Donkey Kong.

Sadly, none of them exist as actual games so curb that excitement just a tad. If possible.

Space Invaders

Donkey Kong

Asteroids

Pac-Man
