'Say the Same Thing': the new 'Draw Something'

Prepare to down your tools, abandon your other halves and lose yourself to your smartphone, a new oh-hell-I-can’t-stop-playing-it game is ready to consume your waking hours.

Say the Same Thing is an ingeniously simple variation of the dinner party classic 'Word Association' game. We've been to some tedious dinner parties.

You and a friend (or total stranger) start out by each offering a random word. ShortList might say ‘Cat’, while Stylist might say ‘Junior’. On the next go, the aim is to say the same thing, striking upon a word associated with the two. In this case, it’s obviously ‘Kitten’. Except it isn’t as obvious as we thought it was, as Stylist have gone for ‘Jerry’…

Hilarity ensues. The longer a game continues, the sweeter the moment you both idiotically stumble upon the same word.

Created by OK Go (yep, the band), Say the Same Thing is free for download on iPhone and Android.

Apologies if the site doesn't update for the next few hours… we’re trying to find a word between ‘Kettle’ and ‘Philosophy’.
