Ricky Gervais Stars In Hilarious New Netflix Ads

gervais1.jpg

Ricky Gervais, one of the few people who is just as funny when he's not even trying, as when he's giving it the full 110%.

A few months after airing the Derek Christmas Special, he's reappeared with these fantastic 'minimal' TV adverts for Australian broadband and cable provider Optus, to announce the launch of Netflix in the country (spoiler: guys down under, you're going to love it).

According to Emotive, the company which created the ads, Gervais had free reign with the script and artistic direction. And it shows.

Watch and enjoy below.
