We all want to beat the rush-hour queues and get away from the boss as soon as possible after a hard day's work.

And the people at Utrecht-based firm HIK Designers have really responded to the challenge by installing a 'transfer accelerator' at Overvecht Railway Station in Holland; a gift to communters in a disadvantaged area to generate positive energy.

It's basically a slide.

Which looks like brilliant fun: try it out by watching the video below.

So, extending the logic, what other playground elements could be incorporated into train stations to make them more fun? A bouncy platform? A see-saw footbridge? It would certainly make the trip to work a lot more enter-train-ing...
