Spidey-sense tingling. Oh, wait, no, that’s actually our hand, sore from clicking on the website of artist Salvador Anguiano so many flipping times.
The latest reason being that the artist has now gone and encapsulated over half a century of Marvel’s Spider-man into one brilliant poster, chronicling every mask worn by the eponymous web swinger between 1962 and 2014.
Not only does it comprise every one of Peter Parker’s lesser known alter egos alongside guest characters (Iron Spider, Cosmic Spider-Man and, erm, Amazing Bag-Man) from the comics but, helpfully, it even includes the masks spotted in the classic ‘90s cartoon and the recent movies films. In fact, if you pay particular attention to 1962’s entry and where we’re at nowadays, the evolution looks to have near enough full circle.
Come to think of it, with a wardrobe that big, The Daily Bugle must be paying Peter Parker some serious cash.
You can buy the said posters here for £35 from Hero Complex right now, but in the meantime click to zoom in on the one below
