Detective Inspectors and delinquents. Heroes and honest criminals. No matter which side of the law they're on, they'll most likely be making an appearance in Hero Complex Gallery's latest exhibition, I Am The Law / A Life of Crime.

Subjects include the most famous authority figures and cons from TV dramas and prison/heist/gangster/western/spy films - from John McClane to Dare Devil, the tributes are as multiple as the homicides.

Running from Friday 15 August with works going on sale from 16 August, if you're in central LA be sure to check out the collection at Hero Complex Gallery. If you can't make the trip, here are some of our favourite works that'll be on display.
