OK Go Make Best Furniture Advert Ever

okgo.jpg

OK Go have established themselves as pioneers of the clever music video, and now they've turned their ample talents to commercials.

Perhaps realising that a Chinese furniture store will pay more than YouTube royalties (even from the millions of hits their promos have attracted), they've shot an excellent two minute-long clip for Red Star Macalline, using their previous video The Writing's On The Wall, which featured optical illusions, as the inspiration.

The musical backing comes from a remix of another of their songs, I Won't Let You Down (the remix being made by the band's own Dan Konopka), while various bandmembers 'try their hand' at speaking a bit of Chinese (with help from some overdubs).

Watch the advert and an introduction clip below - it's not quite as epic as one of their own videos, but it's still comfortably better than anything DFS have ever come up with.
