News Anchor Microphone Disaster

If Ron Atkinson taught us nothing else (apart from "early doors"), it's that you should always assume that your microphone is on during a broadcast.

Sadly, Los Angeles station KTLA's traffic presenter Ginger Chan forgot this golden rule, as she called fellow host Sam Rubin fat, not realising that she was broadcasting loud and clear to the whole studio and the viewers at home.

She made the comment after Rubin had shared a story with colleagues about a time his wife asked him 'when did you become the fat guy on that show?'
