Movie Inspired Paper Series

alien1.jpg

Lots of films look good on paper. But now, rather brilliantly, has now been proven in the most literal sense possible.

Spanish design studio Atipo have just crafted a limited edition box set of 15 types of paper influenced by 15 very different films, every piece illustrating how all you need is a crumpled sheet when trying to get across the gist of a cinematic classic.

By delicately cutting (Rear Window, Edward Scissorhands), stitching (Frankenstein), hole-punching (Dracula), igniting (Fahrenheit 451) folding (The Bridge On The River Kwai), and creasing (The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button – possibly the best of the lot), the pieces are some of the most inventive odes to film you’ll ever see.

We’ve a newfound respect for A4 everywhere.
