Now this might comes as a surprise, especially if you're English and you still hold some dated views on French people, but France is officially the most visited country in the world.

Every year, a whopping 81.4 million people visit France while only 62.7 million go to the US. The least visited country? Well that would be Tuvalu with just 1,200 possibly confused tourists on an annual basis.
