Mario selling cars in new Mercedes ad

The one thing that would have made Super Mario Bros easier as a kid would have been the ability to use an actual car in the game . Well, that and your weird family friend not begging you to have a go the whole damn time.

But still, there's an element of cheating in this new ad from Mercedes, where Mario gets to drive his way through any problems that arise.

Even weirder, he turns into a real non-fat person at the end. Weirder still, there will actually be a Mercedes Benz in Mario Kart 8.

Before we know it, those evil mushrooms will be covered in ads...
