Man shoots himself on camera then implores viewers to join NRA

Derek "Tex" Grebner (doesn't inspire confidence, does it?) is the star of the latest display of YouTube buffoonery, after shooting himself in the leg, then posting it.

Grebner was demonstrating how to draw your weapon and fire, at pace, when he put a bullet through his thigh.

He managed to stop the bleeding before the paramedics arrived. Despite the incident, Grebner encouraged his viewers at the end of the video to join the National Rifle Association "to protect our rights."

Yeah, we'll do that.
