Kim Jong-Un Reimagined As Pop Culture Heroes And Villains

Let’s just hope Kim Jong-Un doesn’t have a Tumblr account...

Just weeks after the North Korea (allegedly) embarked on a complex hacking attack on the US in response to Seth Rogen comedy The Interview painting its leader as a cartoonish megalomaniac, this hilarious art series steps up the spoofery superbly.

From the mind of Brazilian designer Butcher BillyKim Jong-Un: Friend Of Foe imagines the North Korean dictator as a number of iconic heroes and villains to ask whether young Kim is as evil as believed or just misunderstood?

Characters given the Jong-Un treatment include an un-masked Darth Vader, Ronald McDonald, Walter White and – if there were any doubts over the designer’s own leanings on the question – he even features a certain moustachioed tyrant from European history even features.

No, not Mario - we mean Hitler.
