Infographic Shows Why Visuals Matter

'Cos we are living, in a visual world' is what Madonna sang in 1984. Or something like that. Anyway, the point still stands: as humans, we like to look at pretty pictures at every opportunity.

And presentation design company Ethos3 has created this excellent infographic explaining why it's important not to forget that when creating content - particularly the astonishing fact that people retain 80% of what they see, compared to just 20% of what they read, and 10% of what they hear.
