There could be an new iconic building rising up in Western Turkey, after this stunning design for an antenna tower won an international competition.

Designed by IND and Powerhouse Company, in association with structural engineers ABT, it's a huge racetrack-esque loop through a forest, culminating in a giant rising form. It will feature a outdoor pedestrian walkway around the loop, and indoor spaces at the base of the tower.

It's not 100% confirmed to happen yet, but as the winner of the Çanakkale Antenna Tower International Competition, it now stands a very good chance of being made.
