Incredible drum reverb video

No one goes to a gig for a drum solo. Even drummers don't go to gigs for a drum solo. So it may come as a surprise that we've got one minute and 50 seconds of nothing but drumming that we insist you watch.

While drummer Julien Audigier's performance is exceptionally sharp, his stick skills aren't the making of this video - it's the various locations and their reverberating properties that crank it up to 11.

The following track sees Audigier playing one drum pattern at a variety of settings, before the teams of Audio Zero and Wikidrummers masterfully splice together a single recording. The contrasting bangs and echoes produced by each location are an utter marvel.

Plug in, turn up and enjoy.
