Incredible domino tricks

When used for their ultimate purpose, dominos are dull. So dull that, during a tedious game in the murky depths of history, someone was motivated by sheer boredom to create one of the most painstaking, patience-draining pastimes ever devised.

It's on days like today that we're eternally grateful for this forgotten domino-stacking hero. Without them, Hevesh5 and Millionendollarboy (domino experts) wouldn't have had a more entertaining purpose their 25,000 dominos.

This screenlink collaboration sees US dominophile Hevesh5 and German counterpart Millionendollarboy perform some truly staggering domino skills, from Rube Goldberg-esque pivots to jaw-dropping cascades. Some three months of work tumble away in little under four of the most satisfying minutes we've ever witness.

And when you're done with the glory of the successful run, you can wince and groan at the duo's failed attempts.
