If Quentin Tarantino Directed Star Wars

sw1.jpg

The Force is strong in Quentin Tarantino. We’ve known this for some time now. And as this ace new fan-made trailer suggests, his directorial imprint wouldn’t look too bad on a certain space opera franchise, either.

Teeming with the trademark Americana and vintage swagger which normally accompanies the director's production, this one-off video courtesy of Bobby Burns, faithfully splices clips of the original Star Wars films with QT-like editing to bring out the violence, humour and one-liners of the saga. Even the characters are wittily attributed to his usual troupe.

While very enjoyable, we can only guess J. J. Abrams' job is safe for now - we fear the World, and indeed Galaxy, just wouldn’t be ready for it.
