They might have been the world's most cuddly and cute monsters, but you're about to have nightmares about the characters from Monsters Inc.

This fantastic new clip, created by Ross Thompson, recuts Disney's 2001 classic and turns it into a Prometheus-inspired horror trailer, following in the footsteps of Frozen and Toy Story being given similar treatments.

Hold on to your seats, and let the tension build.
