Iconic Coca-Cola bottles re-launched

Heritage coke bottle.jpg

Not only is Coca-Cola the drink of champions, its bottles are regularly described as ‘design classics’ by folk who seem to know about looking good and that type of thing.

With that in mind, we can’t blame the people at arguably the world’s most recognisable brand for re-launching a series of glass bottles to mark its 125th anniversary.

The Hutchinson bottle - the first glass bottle which dates back to 1899 - will be available to buy exclusively from Selfridges (London, Birmingham and Manchester Trafford, as well as online) for £1.99. A wooden collectors’ case, featuring the Hutchinson, plus the Straight Sided, The Prototype and the iconic contour Coca-Cola bottle, will be available for £39.99 from 9 May.
