How To Write A Charity Single

Forget Bono and Bob Geldof, it turns out that all you needed to raise loads of money from a charity single is a flipchart and a MIDI keyboard.

Comedian Brett Domino has wowed us in the past with his unmissable guides to writing a hit pop song, a Halloween song and a Christmas song, and he's now turned his talents to that most difficult of disciplines, the not-awful charity song.

Brett and his bandmate Steve Peavis have been approached by Comic Relief founder Richard Curtis to write a killer hit for Red Nose Day 2015; how will they get on? Watch below and see their creation from genesis (sadly Phil Collins couldn't make it) to the final, excellent product.

Do they know it's Red Nose Day? They will after seeing this.

Comic Relief is takes place this Friday 13 March, with evening coverage on BBC
