Girl Sends Nicolas Cage Photo instead of CV

As Claire Swire can attest, all it takes is one click.

And that's all it took for 20-year-old Canadian Vanessa Hodja to send a job application for a post at York University, with CV attached. Only the CV was a similarly-titled photo of Nicolas Cage looking scary.

Brilliantly, the recipient sent the deadpan reply: "Vanessa, all I see is a picture of Nic Cage looking terrifying”. She didn't get the job; Hodja speculated, “She was probably thinking, 'She can’t even get the attachment right' ”.

We suspect that her chances of employment were gone in less than sixty seconds after that email arrived...
