Game Of Thrones 60s Intro

Winter is coming, cat. Best put on a cable knit polo neck and wait for things to jump bad.

Having already been treated to a gloriously low-fi 1980s version of the Game of Thrones opening sequence, the supremely talented Milan Vuckovic has turned the clock back further still.

Channelling the likes of Saul Bass and Hunter Sanders, the expanding map and diorama scenes of the HBO intro have been exchanged for angular animations and muted colours, all set to an exceptionally smooth rendition of the show's theme tune.

Pour yourself a glass of something cold on the rocks, sit back and enjoy. Man.
