Fresco ruiner selling own art on eBay

Cecilia Gímenez, the woman who destroyed Elias García Martínez's Ecco Homo is now flogging her own unique style of art on eBay.

At the time of writing her framed piece of work entitled Las Bodegas de Borja (image 2) has received a bid of 610 Euros (£490, $800).

Money from the winning bid will be donated to the Roman Catholic charity Caritas. Now 80 years old, Gímenez (image 3) has, in the past, insisted she deserves royalties from the now ruined Jesus Christ fresco because so many more tourists have been to see it since she graced it with her brush.

Bid for her latest piece of bilge here. There's six days left before the end of the auction.
