Forrest Gump is a classic, unforgettable movie - but what if Wes Anderson had been at the helm, rather than Robert Zemeckis? How would it have looked?

That's the question that Canadian filmmaker Louis Paquet asked - and he decided to find out, by recreating the opening titles in the style of the Grand Budapest Hotel director.

The results are fantastic, taking Anderson's distinctive visual style and incorporating many of the elements that pop up through the course of the movie. Don't worry: Tom Hanks is still playing the lead.

Check it out below and see what you think.
