Cars don’t come much manlier than the Ford Mustang. Mixing the mechanistic with the macho, this bulky piece of engineering has been shorthand for American muscle car culture for 50 straight years.

So what better birthday present then, than the starring role in forthcoming race-laden thriller Need For Speed, which sees Aaron Paul’s street racer unleashed behind the wheel of the incredibly handsome 2015 model?

Not that you should take our word for it, mind. Ford have just released this exclusive behind-the-scenes footage featuring the actor waxing lyrical about his new favourite toy, and, for our money, it has all the hallmarks of a beautiful friendship.

With the car being rolled out worldwide next year, and the film out in cinemas soon, consider your anticipation well and truly revved.
