Excellent Doctor Who Portraits

Struggling to contain your Whovian excitement for the arrival of the twelfth Doctor? Us too. Until then, we've found a rather artful distraction.

Behold the marvellous Doctor Who portrait series from sci fi aficionado Tim Doyle.

Pairing the Doctors in a seemingly random fashion (if you can detect a hidden logic to it do let us know), the portraits are to form part of the Mystery Tubes sale of the artist community Nakatomi.

Peter Capaldi appears suitably flamboyant alongside Jon Pertwee - here's hoping the latest incarnation of the Doctor carries a similar air of drama. Head over to Nakatomi to pick up a print.
