If you're a fan of both Doctor Who and Back to the Future, you probably have reservations about clicking play on the video below. But fear not, we can confirm that it's all kinds of awesome.

Allow us to present to you the ultimate time travel mash up, by animator and writer James Farr, suitably entitled Blink to the Future.

In the cartoon the Doctor plays Doc, Rory is Marty and Amy Pond is Jennifer. You'll also catch a glimpse of River as Clara.

But the best part is the superb time machine amalgamation that is the DeLorean Tardis. Bonus geek points for the creation of 9-Stein too.
